The film started shooting in Baton Rouge and Angola, Louisiana on August 7, 2012. At the end of the film, Bell is a retired sheriff who speculates about the future of law enforcement and the world in general. Netflix's How It Ends has, ironically, a confusing ending. "Bad Country" is a great police story based on real events and excellent screenplay. The plot is supported by excellent veteran cast. One of the best moments of the story is when Lt.
